What a night to remember! We are thrilled to announce that JP Baldwin

is the 2026 Blount’s Got Talent Champion!

JP wowed our judges and the crowd with his incredible talent, earning the

$500 cash prize and the BGT trophy!

But JP didn’t stop there-In an incredible act of generosity, JP donated his entire $500 cash prize back to CASA — AND made an additional donation to support the children we serve.

JP, we are beyond grateful for your generosity and for the heart you brought to our event. Your talent may have earned you the trophy, but your kindness made you a true champion for children.

Together, we didn’t just put on a show — we made a difference for children in our community.

Meet Shannon

 

We are excited to welcome Shannon to the CASA of the Tennessee Heartland team as our new Blount County Program Coordinator!

Shannon brings more than 20 years of experience in early childhood education to CASA. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Child Development with a minor in Psychology and spent much of her career as an Early Childhood Educator and Director of a small nonprofit cooperative preschool.

After relocating to East Tennessee with her family four years ago, Shannon continued her work in the nonprofit sector, most recently serving as an Assistant Program Coordinator with ADFAC.

But Shannon’s connection to CASA goes even deeper—she has served as a CASA herself. Because she has experienced the role firsthand, she understands the incredible difference a CASA volunteer can make in a child’s life.

Shannon is honored to now walk alongside the CASAs of Blount County as they advocate for children involved in the court system.

Please join us in welcoming Shannon to CASA of the Tennessee Heartland! We are so glad to have her on our team and look forward to the difference she will make alongside our dedicated volunteers.
