January 11 – National Human Trafficking Awareness Day 🕯️
Human trafficking often hides in plain sight—and children are among the most vulnerable. Youth involved in foster care are at an increased risk due to instability, lack of support, and unmet needs.
At CASA of the Tennessee Heartland, we believe awareness is the first step toward protection. CASA volunteers serve as consistent, trusted adults who get to know a child’s story, recognize warning signs, and advocate for safety, services, and stability.
Every child deserves to be seen, believed, and protected.
Every child deserves someone paying close attention.
Today, we stand with survivors, honor their resilience, and reaffirm our commitment to safeguarding children and advocating for their best interests.
💙 Awareness saves lives. Advocacy changes futures.
