Hello Friends and Happy Holidays!

Check out what we’ve been up to and what we have going on now! Feel free to share our upcoming events!

ORNL Gives

This year the Human Resources (HR) organization at ORNL chose CASA as the non-profit they would highlight through the annual ORNL Gives campaign. CASA was chosen by the staff in HR for its worthy mission and because a few of the staff have personal connections to CASA. The fundraising efforts were centered around events that relate to childhood – lemonade stands and an art show – as well as the Stuff the Duffle Drive where staff were asked to bring in new or gently used duffle bags full of school and office supplies

Kingdom Life Church Donation

CASATNH was recently gifted with 100 backpacks full of various school & personal supplies from the members of Kingdom Life Church of Knoxville.

Their thoughtful donation will fill in the gap for so many hurting children who would otherwise have just a garbage bag for their personal belongings.

Thank you so much kingdom life, we truly appreciate it!

Month of Giving-Happening NOW!

This year we have a generous offer from Phyllis S. Meredith in honor of her late husband, the Honorable Jennings B. Meredith, retired Anderson County Juvenile and General Sessions Court Judge. Judge Meredith was the driving force in the formation of CASA in Anderson County in 1987. He supported CASA throughout his tenure in office and would be humbled by this gift. Mrs. Meredith will be matching all donations made by Dec. 31st for our month of giving up to 10k in honor of him! What a blessing!

Help us reach our Goal of 10k!

If you would like to give, you can donate monetarily on our website:www.casatnh.org or through the mail-P.O. Box 4426 Oak Ridge TN 37830, you can donate your time by volunteering, or you can spread the word and share our message to others!

Welcome to our new Scott Co. Program Coordinator!

Kady joined CASA as the Scott County Program Coordinator in October 2022. She resides in Scott Co with her husband and four children. Kady has a background in Legal Studies from Roane State Community College. She is excited to bring what she’s learned and looks forward learning many new things to better serve our advocates, children, and families in Scott County.
