CASA’s Annual Barbeque and Bluegrass Bash – This event will be February 18th, 2012 starting at 6pm. The evening will include entertainment from Bill Landry of the Heartland Series, a bluegrass concert from High on LeConte and a delicious barbeque buffet by Texas Roadhouse. We will have items for silent auction, and a live auction conducted by Bear Stephenson. Bill will have his book available at the event and will be autographing them as requested – please pre-order your copy here and note that you were referred from CASA – we will receive 20% of the proceeds! Tickets to the event are now available through the donation link above or at any of the CASA offices.

CASA’s Penguin Plunge – Scheduled this year for March 3rd!  Every year, brave souls become human “penguins” and dive into the Oneida City Park Lake! We have moved this event to March each year as a couple of years we had to postpone due to the ice… eeek! No worries, the first weekend of March is plenty cold!! Not only do people pay a registration to jump in, but they can pay $50 and nominate a friend to jump in with them! It may be cold water, but our supporters have warm hearts!

Take a Chance for CASA’s Kids – Each year we have a raffle, the location of the drawing has been in both Anderson and Scott Counties, but we sell the tickets all over! Prizes vary from year to year. Tickets are $5 each or 25 for $100. We were so blessed by our grand prize winner this year who donated a portion of her $2100 prize back to us!
